Image shows a class 50 ‘Lion’ plate in its unfinished state. Unfortuantely, at present, we are unable to privide a ‘fully finished’ custom nameplate.
To complete the nameplate, you will need to glue the letters and outer border to the base, using the top template as a guide. once dry, this needs to be primed. We use Halfords grey primer on most of our kits and it adheres to the MDF base well. Light coats and gradually build up as you go along. Some light sanding with a fine sandpaper is ideal prior to painting. Nameplates were normally either in red or black background with silver lettering and border. Plastikote spray paints are ideal or you can choose a range of colours from Graff City, click here to visit their website.
Once done, the outer border and lettering can be hand painted using Hammerite Smooth Silver.
Postage will ONLY be via Parcelforce due to its length.
