OO Gauge – Fuelling Grids – Single Centre Grid, Optional Extension Outer Grids and Walkway
Why not add some more detail to your diesel depot layout and in the form of these fuelling grid packs.
Available as a single centre section, an outer extension pack and have both with complimenting outer walkway strips to make up approx 170mm worth of fuelling grid. You can add additional packs to make up the length that is required.
The centre section piece has 1600 grid holes in it, so these do take time to laser cut and therefore reflected in the cost of production.
Made from our ModelBord, this material is just 0.5mm thick so must be handled with care. These grids can be easily made up in a short period of time and we have created a video on how to make these to assist you. The centre section piece has been designed so that it simply slots inbetween the sleepers on the Peco Code 75/100 flexible track and can be glued in place (recommended). The outer extension pieces simply butt up against the side of the rail just above the chair and gives as close as finish to the rail as possible but also being slightly under the rail height. Again, these can be glued in place once done.
If you have ballast the track already where these grids will go then you may find that you will need to remove the ballast to allow fitting of these.

Additional Parts Required (Not Included With Kit): Comes as a kit and requires glueing and painting. A sharp craft knife/zippy blade or similar will be required to remove pieces from part of the template.
Other items required to assist: Deluxe Materials Super Phatic (or equivalent), Paints
Advise: When painting, do so in a well-ventilated area and use an appropriate mask. Some items are very fragile so handling with care is paramount.

A great kit that adds a depth of detail to a depot fuelling point. It is well up to the usual standard of RailwayLaserLines kits, with markings of where parts are attached on the sheets of parts, well defined laser cutting around edges and all the cutouts of the grid (and there are a lot of them!). Goes together well with all slots and tabs lining up perfectly. Fits to track perfectly – recommended!

Very good in its design, but a bit flimsy in construction.
I found it a little trying at times . The price tag was a tad too high in my opinion. Also you should give the customer the option of 1st or 2nd class post

You’re spot on—working with fine 0.5mm thick materials can definitely feel a bit trying during assembly due to how delicate the scale parts are. We choose this specific thickness and material to achieve true-to-scale realism, but we know it requires a patient, steady hand during construction.
Regarding the price, each grid features over 1,600 individual laser-cut holes. The intricate detail takes a bit more machine time and care to produce, but we always aim to balance precision quality with fairness in our pricing.
Finally, we appreciate your note on shipping options. We used to offer 2nd class post a while back but after parcels being delayed or lost in transit, we made the decision to stick exclusively to a faster, more reliable service so that orders arrive safely and promptly to our customers.
