OO Gauge – Brick Column Supports With Concrete Block Tops – For Use With Our Iron Footbridge Kit – Choice Of 2 Heights

To compliment our 298mm and 500mm Iron Footbridges, we now offer two options for adding brick column supports, with concrete block tops.

PACK 1 – Four brickwork sides to make one column, plus 3 concrete top blocks – brickwork measurements: H:61mm; D:14mm; W:35mm
PACK 2 – Four brickwork sides to make one column, plus 3 concrete top blocks – brickwork measurements; H:90mm; D:14mm; W:35mm

With the forthcoming stairway kit for both footbridges, the smaller height brick supports will be the ones to go for as these will work with the stairway kit. For those who need a higher footbridge, maybe using overhead catenary, or simply need to have the bridge at a higher level, then the taller brick columns will be the ones to have

Simply glue the four sides together, using a minimal amount of glue from inside the column, then add the 3 separate concrete block tops to complete this kit.

Prime the etched brickwork and blocks using a quality primer. Allow to dry thoroughly before painted in your desired colour/s.

These brickwork columns work with our laser cut 298mm and 500mm Iron Footbridge kit. However, they could be used elsewhere should you wish.

Each pack has enough brick sides to make up 1 column. The 4 brick panels are held in the template by small tags (lines on template to show) that will require to be cut with a zippy blade/knife to release them from their template. NB: Our enhanced brickwork is fragile and should be handled with care to avoid any bricks coming away.
If using masking tape to hold the brickwork in place whilst drying, DO NOT USE normal masking tape as this may take off the surface layer of MDF and also pull the small bricks off. We recommend Tamiya low tack masking tape. Always pull masking tape off away and at an angle and if you see any bricks on the tape, either glue them back on or leave off to form the effect of broken bricks!
