Railway Laser Lines – Laser Cut O Single Through Road Diesel Depot.
To enhance anyone’s layout is this addition of a modern single road diesel depot/servicing shed. The design is loosely based on the diesel shed at Tavistock on its original footings and will accommodate one large diesel loco or a couple of shunters.
Internally, this kit takes our design up a notch and we’ve included internal brickwork along with the side metal framework, plus 4 full height metal cross bracings and we think this looks superb. Add some internal lighting and it will certainly be a focal point on your layout thats for sure. The exterior has a metal cladding effect along with stunning engraved brickwork along both sides and at each end too, trying to replicate Tavistock as close as possible.
We did write to Network Rail to see if we could arrange to visit to take measurements and photos etc but unfortunately correspondence from them was basically zippo….so, very disappointed, but hey ho, from the small number of images that we managed to find, I think we’ve done a grand job and for the modern O gauge modeller, there is NOTHING else out there to match.
The kit is made from MDF and laser-card. The kit will take a few evenings work, allowing for parts to dry and what better way to wipe away the dark miserable evenings with a nice session in kit building.
