Railway Laser Lines – Laser Cut O Gauge Mess Room/Stores Kit

Every depot needs a Mess Room and we’re pleased to release our latest laser cut kit in the form of a modern image Mess Room & Stores that will compliment other Railway Laser Lines products.

The outbuilding base measures 325mm x 180mm, with the building taking up the majority of this space, leaving around a 12mm outer base visible. With a removable roof, it opens up to reveal 4 rooms, a main mess room, office, toilets and stores room, although you can tailor these to your own requirements. With 10 large windows, it allows plenty of light inside and the opportunity to fill with a number of 3D parts.

Our building comes with a skeleton framework for that extra rigidity and internal walls offer up our latest push-to-fit ends, so no gluing required on these, just the 4 corners. Our premium engraved brickwork finishes off the external of the building, with interlocking joins (some sanding may be required once in position to give the best flush fit possible – careful sanding, if required is recomended to avoid damage to any brickwork).

Glazing is protected by a backing and needs to be removed from both sides, unless leaving any on to create an opaque style glazing.

Comes as a kit but some parts of the kit will require priming, painting and/or gluing. A sharp craft knife/zippy blade or similar will be required to remove pieces from part of the kit.

Other items required to assist:

PVA Glue (or equivalent) Sandpaper, Primer Paint, Acrylic/Enamel Paint, Masking Tape, Paint Brushes

Advise: When priming/painting, do so in a well-ventilated area and use an appropriate mask. Some items are very fragile so handling with care is paramount.
