Sleeper Spacer Tool – 60ft Scale – 24 Sleepers

Do you want to have more prototypical looking track? Then the Railway Laser Lines Sleeper Spacer Tool may just be the perfect tool that you’re looking for to help you with this task.

This is our new O gauge sleeper tool*, which will help create a more realistic look to a scale 60ft of Peco Bulhead Track with 24 sleepers and have been spaced:-

1st Sleeper (left) – 1ft from edge of tool (rail join) to centre of the sleeper
2nd Sleeper (left) – 2ft 3 1/2 from centre of adjacent sleeper
3rd Sleeper (left) – 2ft 4 from centre of adjacent sleeper
4th Sleeper (left) – 2ft 5 from centre of adjacent sleeper
then a lot of 2ft 7 from centre of adjacent sleeper before returning back to
4th Sleeper (right) – 2ft 5 from centres of adjacent sleeper
3rd Sleeper (right) – 2ft 4 from centre of adjacent sleeper
2nd Sleeper (right) – 2ft 3 1/2 from centre of adjacent sleeper
1st Sleeper (right) – 1ft from edge of tool (rail join) to centre of the sleeper

*This sleeper spacer tool will ONLY work with Bullhead track as the sleepers are different on Flat Bottom track and this tool is a guide rather than being 100% accurate due to sleeper widths.

Once you have cut all the sleepers on the track to individual ones, get rid of the joining parts altogether, you will need to move the sleepers together at one end and then slide them along to fit within each slot of the spacer tool. You can place the tool within the centre of the rails or alternatively do it on the outer sides.

It’s certainly worth testing out how to do this the best way you feel will help you on a spare piece of track.
