Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our online shop and add any items that you wish to buy into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payments through Paypal. All prices are quoted in Pound sterling. Place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept most Debit and Credit Cards through Paypal. We do not accept American Express.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately by email to sales@railwaylaserlines.co.uk and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

NB: PLEASE NOTE – POSTAGE COSTS NOW APPLY ONLY TO ENGLAND & WALES – USE OUR CONTACT FORM TO GET A QUOTE IF YOU LIVE IN IRELAND,SCOTLAND, OR OUTSIDE OF THE UK (we also ship to USA and Canada).
Any orders received outside of England/Wales may be refunded and we will contact you with a revised quote to include delivery.

Cancelling Your Order – Fees Occurred

Should you place an order with us and then cancel prior to the item being sent out, either contacting us by phone or email, we will refund you the cost of your order less any fees that we may incur as a result of your cancellation. The fees involved will be our PayPal charges that we incur and are NOT refunded to us by PayPal, so as a result of you cancelling your order, we reserve the right to with-hold these fees that are charged to us and deduct them from your refund.
If the item has been sent out to you then, on cancellation, the Buyer shall return the Goods to the Seller at its own cost and must be insured to the value of the goods unless the Goods are being returned because they are faulty or incorrect goods sent by the Seller, in which case the Seller will meet the cost of return subject to being able to nominate the carrier. A full refund of the will be given in the result of our error. If the items have been sent back for cancellation only, we will inspect the goods prior to giving a refund of the product cost (we do not refund shipping costs) to make sure that these are resaleable. In the event of any damage caused by their return, then we reserve the right to charge accordingly, or ask you to claim for damages against the insurance taken out on sending the parcel back to us. In all aspects of a cancellation, we reserve the right to charge an admin fee of up to 10% of the total goods returned per kit.

Shipping

We endeavour to ensure that all orders received and paid for items that are in stock are shipped within 3 working days (Except during Saturday’s, Sunday’s and Public and/or Company holidays, when the 1st available working day will be used).

Items that are out of stock will be notified to you ASAP.

You will receive an email as your order progresses.

Laser Cut Kits – Signed For

ALL laser cut kits over the value of £30 are sent via Royal Mail ‘signed for’. We will add your parcel tracking number within your Paypal order and you will be notified by email from Paypal. Most items are normally sent 1st class, however, we have the right to send any kit second class. In the event of any pandemic that affects the Royal Mail service, we understand that signatures are NOT being asked for due to safety to the postman, therefore we CANNOT accept any responsibility for ANY loss as a result of this being actioned by the Post Office. Please do not order if you do not agree to this. International orders will be sent our via our chosen courier and service.

Should the Royal Mail not be able to deliver the parcel, you are not in, or do not re-arrange delivery, or collection from them and the item is sent back to us, we will either refund your cost of the item, minus shipping costs, or email you to arrange payment of postage again to resend. Royal Mail will leave a card to say that have not been able to deliver due to signature required and you should also receive and email or SMS (providing you have given this in your order) to notify of delivery date. We cannot accept responsibility to resend at our cost should you have not received the item for reasons above.

Delivery Schedule

Whilst we use our best endeavours to ship your order as above, speed shall not be of the essence unless specified as such in writing at the time of order. We shall not be held liable for damage or loss of items once placed in the care of our delivery agent, however caused. Railway Laser Lines shall not be liable for loss or damage to shipments that are selected at the time of checkout by the customer to ship via an uninsured service. In the event of loss or damage to uninsured shipments, Railway Laser Lines shall not be held responsible for any financial, material or peripheral loss, but will provide on a best efforts basis reasonable assistance to the customer by providing information on means and method of shipment if required.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. Your order will be treated as confirmed and payment will be taken. If for any reason we are unable to supply an item we will refund your payment. Any order that is not in stock and made to order for you is non-refundable once this has been sent out to you, so please make sure that when ordering a kit, you choose the right option. Should you wish to cancel your order prior to us cutting your kit then please contact us immediately via our contact form, or better, by phone on 07918 090139 so we can process a refund. If we have already cut your kit, then we reserve the right to deduct an admin fee of 10% per kit

Credit Card Security

We store and process all customer data in accordance with the current legal requirements of the United Kingdom Data Protection Act.

Payment

We currently offer payment via debit/credit card through Paypal, or the choice of a Bank Transfer. If the latter option is taken, we will email you with the bank details required to pay for your kit. Payment is required to be made within 24hrs of order, or we reserve the right to cancel your order and place the product back into stock, should you have purchased an item that is available from stock. We do not offer any other payment scheme.

Railway Laser Lines will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, inclusive or/from the usage of goods purchased, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
